BOM Plot

Hi Guys!

I used to be able to do a first level BOM plot this way in PS 2009:
1) Select an Item in the Item Master
2) Select the BOM tab
3) Set BOM view to First Level components
4) Shift select all the first level items
5) Click on Plot icon and all the selected Items would be in the plot list automatically.

This does not seem to work in VM 2010 anymore??? Am I missing something... it has been a long holiday...

You are right VM 2010 does NOT auto-add your selection to plot manager in 2010. This is a known issue. We will improve that in future.

Ok so what would be the quickest way to do a first level BOM plot now?

For 2010, you have to manually add the items for batch plot and you will definitely want to save a list for future plot. We hope this would be remedy.

Just to let you know...this isn't an "inconvenience". This is a major loss in productivity. What took about a 30 seconds in PS2009....is now an hour or so process. And....then you just hope you printed everything. This should be a HOTFIX!

Yes I agree! This is a mojour drawback of the new version and makes us a lot slower! I hope Autodesk can fix this with a hotfix.
