Hello everyone,
I have created a rule for content-center-files as stated in the blog of Brian Schanen - with the iProperty "Is Content".
But I found a problem with that.
When you create for example a U-profile this is customized -> it is NO standard-part.
But Vault categorize it as a standard part, because the iProperty "Is Content" is set to true.
How can I define an exclusion that alle parts that i define as "custom" are not categorized as a standard part?
This is a quite big problem for some of our customers - cause it is not easy to change the category afterwards, when the initial state is released. It needs a lot of steps.
Is there a solution for this problem?
Or does anyone have an idea how to solve this?
thx in advance,
andrea

Add a rule criteria that says "Standard Organisation ; is not ; Custom"
Hello,
I am sorry, but this is not working - there is not the word "Custom" in the attribute Standards-Organisation, but DIN, ISO, and so on.
I tried to place a U-profile and an other part as custom, but there always is the right Standards-Name in this attribute.
Any other ideas?

Hi
We are also using the Criteria "G_L ; is ; Empty. This is the property for cut length. You may also say that file name does not contain "something" or that Part number does not contain something. Maybe you use the standard number (ex: ISO 657) in a property?
Thanks for the ideas!
I think filename could work for us, cause we use automatic filenaming.
But, can someone set this to a wishlist?
It would be nice to have a flag that indicates a custom standard-part.
thx,
andrea
