Autoloader performance

After all these years, why does the Vault Autloader still hold the world record of "Utterly poor application performance"? Smiley Sad

Our customers don't have 5000 files, they don't have 10.000 files - they have 100.000 files - or 500.00 files ++

I'm currently stuck trying to import a folder with only 10.000 files, where the Autoloader will load up 1 CPU core and run for several hours before I'm allowed to click "Upload" What exactly is the Autoloader so busy NOT doing? There's hardly any network traffic or disk activity....

A bit frustrated...

Please give us a better tool for bulk uploading to Vault....

For Inventor files, Task Scheduler is far and above the better option.  As for AutoCAD, I just check in 'chunks' at a time utilizing the 'check in folder' option.  Never have liked autoloader, except for its reporting functionality.
