Autodesk Vault Basic 2015-- Use with Autodesk Inventor 2014?

I have Vault Basic 2015 and ADMS setup and working fine with 2015 applications Ie. Inventor Pro.

Is it possible to use Inventor Pro 2014 vault client with my 2015 Vault?

Yes, but in order to use Inventor 2014 with Vault 2015 you will need to install the Vault 2014 client.

I have now installed Vault Client 2014 for Product Design Ultimate 2014.

It works better than expected. Using MS Office Pro 2007 I was unable to see Vault Basic 2015.

Logging in to Vault Client 2014 seems to have activated the Vault connection thru MS Office.

Now I get the Vault menu and can log into Vault thru MS Office.

Understand that I have been unable to get Vault Server working for over 2-3 years!

What ever changed in the setup of Vault 2015 has done the job!.

It works and seems well, even 2014 logs in and works.

If you think I am happy you would be correct!

Hopefully it will last.
