Autloader fails to log out

Greetings all,

My company is migrating to Vault and we are nearly complete. Autoloader has generally been an absolute nightmare to work with so I have been able to get almost everything done without using it. However I'm trying to manually update a .DAT menu file in vault for ACADE (Even though Vault does not directly support the ACADE block library, I was able to make it work). Due to vaulting restrictions I cannot manualy update this file as Vault wants to make sure it isn't associated with anything else, understandable.

Here is the issue, I can use autloader to place this file into vault. However I have changed the way Vault handles user names and therefore the original user name and password I put into Autoloader (and checked 'automatically log in next session') is now invalid. When I try to open autoloader I click the 'click here to log out' option and autoloader crashes giving the following error:

Unhandled exception has occured in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Signing out of vault failed!

 So then I tried to trick it by disabling the account in Vault so it would be forced to ask for login credentials. This did work, however when I try to put the new credentials in Autoloader responds with the error: 'Another user is currently using autoloader, please try again later'. So my install of autoloader is useless. I tried to un-install and re-install while also deleting windows registry entries and any files on the C: drive and it still managed to remember the old login credentials. Does anyone know of a way to fix this? It's fairly frustrating

Also, we're running Vault 2009 (autloader 2009) Yes I understand this software is outdated, however it is out of my control.

Ok, I have solved this problem. For anyone else who experiences this, here is what you do;

For some frustrating reason Autoloader crashes under certain log off conditions. If you get this error, you must go into vault and disable the account that autloader is trying to automatically log in with, this will force autoloader to bring up a log in dialog. Once you have 'tricked' Autoloader into working correctly.... you have to delete the BUU.XML from the root drive of your vault. Chances are when Autoloader crashed it left this file locked. Because this file is locked, Vault/Autoloader thinks someone else is trying to use Autoloader and will deny access.
