xref vs dynamic blocks attached from Vault

We have created a library of dynamics blocks. Now we attached from Vault a dynamic block in a drawing and the dynamic properties of the block are missed because the block has been attached as a xref. Is there any way to attaching a dynamic block from Vault without the dynamic properties missing?

Thanks

Hi,

Unfortunately there is no other way other than attaching the Dynamic Block drawing as XREF from Vault.

However after attaching the Drawing as XREF, Bind the drawing to the current drawing and then explode it. After exploding you can get the Dynamic Block Properties.

Please keep in mind that Binding and exploding will remove the XREF info from the drawing.

Other option is, download all the Dynamic Block Drawings to Local disk and then insert as DWG. After that again you need to explode it to get the Dynamic Block properties.

Hope the above helps you.
