Using Vault project with Inventor. Opened Inventor assembly that uses an ipart. Changed member to a member to a member that was not yet created.
After 15minutes, Inventor is still trying to save the member. Used WIn Task Manager to end task.
Restarted Inventor, using same ipj, I went to Tools>Add-in and unloaded the Vault add-in. Opened same assembly and changed to the new memeber as before. Now Inventor saved the new member.
Why does this hang with the Vault Add-in loaded?

Hi Kirk,
Could you please send me the iPart file? You can send it to me at senthilDOTkumarATautodeskDOTcom
Thanks!
Senthil,
I have these products installed:
Inventor Pro 2013
Vault Basic 2013
Vault Basic 2014
ADMS 2014
Before I installed Vault Basic 2014 (server and client), I uninstalled Vault Basic 2013 (server and client). I was testing if Vault Basic 2014 was compatible with Inventor 2013. Turned out that it was not, so I reinstalled Vault Basic 2013.
In Inventor when I unload the Vault add-in, I now realize this is probably the Vault 2013 and not the 2014 add-in... correct?
I am working on another issue with Vault Basic 2013 and I need to install SP1 for Vault Basic 2013. Hopefully that will solve this issue as well. It will be later this afternoon when I get back in front of the computer to install the SP1.
Hi Kirk,
Thanks for your reply. Vault Client 2014 will not install add-in for Inventor 2013.
If you have the following setup
Inventor Pro 2013
Vault Basic 2013
Vault Basic 2014
ADMS 2014
then, Inventor Pro 2013 with 2013 add-in should be able to log into ADMS 2014.
Senthil,
I installed Vault Basic 2013- SP1 and its working correctly now.
Thanks
