Hi all,
In order to work in a right way we will recommend to our customer to work mainly in Inventor for opening file changing state, etc.
But there is a bug if you will to do that.
Here is a scenario:
- In a Vault you have a part with a drawing. The two are in a release state.
- In Inventor, open from Vault the part.
- Change the state to Work In Progress.
- Check-out, modify, check-in the part.
- Open the drawing.
- Try to change the state...... You can't because the IDW is dirty (*) and this blocks the change state command in Inventor...
The only workaround is to change the state of the drawing from Vault Explorer.
Am I doing something wrong?
