Vault references not migrated

I backed up my 2010 vault.

I removed all traces of anything autodesk or MySQLfrom my machine

I installed ADMS 2012 and Vault Client

I am following the read me instructions to update file references and it is giving me an error that the references were not migrated.

Which button did i not press?

Vault server is a Win XP 32 bit machine

Are you able to Update File References on small sets of data? Maybe a single assembly?

Do you have a default Inventor project set in Tools > Options?

Do all the files you are Updating File References for fall in the cone of that project?

We made some changes to vault that makes the mass update of file references much less of a necessity. If the update of small sets of data works I'd just leave the update to be done as everyone works.

If file references are needed at the time a command is run the user will be notified and in almost all cases the Update File References command will be run automatically.
