Hi,
I would like to know if I'm having the Vault Access but my computer doesn't have any AutoCAD software.
Do I still manage to open the .dwg file from the Vault?
Or if not possible.. Is there another way to view the drawing beside converted the drawing to pdf?
Thank you.
Regards,
Alex
If you don't have any CAD software, there is no way to open a CAD file, with or without Vault. If you have access to Vault, however, you may be able to view a .dwf visualization of CAD files that someone else has checked in. If you do not have Vault client software, but have permissions on your company's Vault, you can use the Vault Web Client.
http://xxxx/AutodeskDM/WebClient, where "xxxx" is the name of your Vault Server. Check with your Vault administrator to see if you have access.
