Publiahing Error

Hi,
I am getting the following error while updaing the visulization files locally, "Unknown error during publish". And this is happening with all the files in vault.

Hello Varinder,

Are you using the job server? If so, you might want to check the user
permissions of the user being used on the jobprocessor. Also, the
machine that you are using to create the visualization file...does it
have the appropriate CAD application to create the DWF for the file?

Hi Jim,

I have AutoCAD 2011 and Design Review 2011 Installed on my computer with Vault 2011. I am loged in as administrator on vault client and job processor. I have all the rights to edit, modify and delete the file. But it still gives me same error.

Let's take the job processor out of the equation. Can you select a file
and go to the "Preview" tab. While there, select the "Update..." option
with the "Update Locally" selected. Does it create the DWF?

Varinder,

Encountered the same error you have posted in the first thread, for my case
reinstall DWG TrueView 2011 resolved the issue. Hope this helps.

Chee-Kit

Receive similar error publishing Inventor files in Vault (locally) running Vault 2011, Inventor 2011.  I think it is related to File Registry as I am also running Factory Design Suite 2013 with Inventor 2013 Professional.

Icons for Inventor files are for Inventor Pro and are different than when only 2011 was installed.  The interesting note here is that I have been using both versions for a while and only the last two days have noticed that I was unable to publish files in Vault.  Have not been successful in changing the registry to set Inventor files to open in 2011.

Don't know if that helps because I am looking for resolution to this issue as well.

Thanks
