Please insert the disc: Vault 2012 Server --- but it is present !

Sight... after struggling and overcoming and fixing all kinds of weird Vault 2012 installation issues, I finally ran into one last error I just can't fix... this is realy a funny one.

I am upgrading our Vault 2010 server -> 2012. Overcoming the famous error 1603, I finally managed to migrate the 2010 to 2012, YES! During the initial upgrade I skipped the installation of the additional libraries, because I had so much issues with the installation, I first wanted to focus on fixing that part first. Later I could still add the libraries, right?

So, the installation has finished, no more errors. Looking good. Starting the installation DVD once last time, noticing the INSTALLED message in front of the Vault 2012 installation check, YES! Selecting the Libraries, choosing the right path, everything is perfect... click Install...

Message: Please insert the disc: Autodesk Vault 2012 (Server) DVD

Wait, wut? Ehm, that same disc I downloaded from the Autodesk site (Autodesk_Vault_Server_2012_English_Win_32-64bit.exe) I have been using the entire day to install Vault server 2012...

Is he really referring to THAT disc? I only see 1 disc here.. where is the magic other disc? can't seem to find it. *weird*

So I look on the DVD and see the folder "C:\Vault2012\Content\LibraryContent" with about 2.73 GB of libraries... there it is... go ahead Installation proces, look closer and you will see it too !

Of course this programm has no intelligence at all, so the only thing I can do, is to cancel the installation and am left with the same question: Uhm... Uhm.... huh? How to solve this?

Any body?

(of course I also copied the contents to the local drive and tried again.. no succes)

Have you tried to run the LibraryContent.exe executable in the Library Content folder to install the libraries instead of running the full installation?

When you do this, make sure the administrator password is blank and ADMS Console is closed.

Yes, now it is working. Copied the contents to another folder on the drive and suddenly it worked. Then I received another error message, related to your remark about the ADMS Administrator accounts password. I set that to blank and it is installing now. Thanks.

1 other thing: yesterday I found a solution for a 1603 error message, so perhaps I can share the solution somewhere? Where would be a good place to post it?

ps. Running the libraycontent.exe didn't work. The process was started, stayed in memory but did nothing. Well, at least nothing for the first 2 minutes. Then I killed the process.

I'm having the same issue when trying to install AutoDesk Vault 2012 or 2013.  I receive the Please insert the disc: message.  I've tried running the ContentLibrarySetup from the Content/LibraryContent folder and I get the "Content Center Libraries...requires you to already have AutoDesk Data Management Server installed".

This is a new installation for me on a clean Windows 2008 R2 Standard server.  HELP!!!
