We are using Vault 2014 Pro and when we check out an assembly thru the vault, it creates a library under the c:\user\(name)\documents folder. We have a library in vault for our mechanical and electrical parts and this is being duplicated in the c:\user\(name)\documents folder. When we check the assembly back in, it is keeping links to the c:\user\(name)\documents library files when it should be linling to the library in the working folder. This causes problems for the next person opening up the assembly because it is trying ti find the parts in the previous c:\user\(name)\document folder.
Hello,
I have/had the same problem. The problem occured when using "insert from vault".
My solution:
!Use on a test PC!
erase all data from c:\users\user...
erase all data from c:\Vault\library creating the problem
download Vault onto your local drive
open your drawing giving problems, when asking resolve from Vault, answer no and browse your local Vault library directory and select your part. For each part.
Make sure that your iam in your library as al least once be checked in in Vault before download it onto your local drive.
Hope it helps
