Look up "Enabling the Job Server" in the client help.

Look to the Autodesk Vault Help Wiki:

Irvin,

There isn't much there. It just tells you where to click the option to enable the Job server.

OK, that helps a little.

Before I read that, I tried to login to the job server when the job processor started. I entered the wrong server name. Now when I start the Job Processor, it tells me that there was a login error, but it doesn't give me a way to enter new credentials. How do I get it back to the login screen?

Got that fixed. I had to pause the processor to make the loging screen available.

How do I designate the workstation that processes the files in the queue? Is it just a matter of what ever workstation is connected and able to process the jobs in the queue?

Pause the Job Server and you'll have the option to re-enter the credentials. Here's a tip: create a Job User account that has Administrative-level rights, perhaps even more than the Administrator in your environment. This way, that account has carte blanche to all files for synch properties and view updates in any lifecycle state.

Also, should I enter credentials and the server name the same as I do when loggin into the web based vault browser? Shoule I included the \\ before the server name? Do I need to include the <domain name>\ with the user name?

Kevin,

You can not designate a workstation.  It is which ever workstation logs into the queue to process the job.

You do not need to use the "\\" for the server name and you need to create a Vault account, not a domain account, to use for the Job Processor login.

That helps. Thanks.

I am able to get that computer to login as a job processor. It attempts to publish any file that goes into the queue, but hasn't completed one successfully. I started another thread because this is a different problem than this post was intended to address.
