We have recently upgraded to Infrastructure Design Suite Premium 2014 with Vault Professional. All upgrades were made as a clean install on fresh hard drives, Windows 7 Pro, 64 bit, 24.0 GB Ram.
Since upgrading to 2014 the drafters no longer have the ability in the Vault Client to “Copy Design”, it gives them an error message that says is cannot be done due to Vault Restrictions. This feature did work in the 2013 software. Have you had anyone else inquire about this?
I had a similar issue when we upgraded from 2012 to 2013. Copy design and get/Checkout and other commands caused errors where they usually worked. Eventually turned out to be a permissions issue on the ipj file. See the below thread and the solution at the bottom. It might help with your problem. My VAR cannot figure out how this got changed during the upgrade.
