I've been lately trying to get us into the habit of using "delete local" on all of our Inventor assemblies and drawings when they are completed and released. In the past our company just left everything local on the network drive because space was not an issue. I never felt this was the right way to go... why have Vault if you just leave the files in both locations?
Anyway, when using check in and delete local, and then later Open from Vault to work on the assembly some more.... I get unresolved errors on most of the Content Center parts, since local copies of those were deleted as well. Shouldn't Vault know to download everything when you open from Vault?

Sounds like the answer is: Don't delete local copies of Content Center parts.
