Change Number Operation Failed

Hello,

I'm facing some difficulties renumbering an item.

It sometimes occurs that we add new items manually into the vault, with an .dwf as an attachment.

Vault creates an 6digit number which I renumber to the partnumber.

Now I mixed up two numbers. So 000001 should be 00000A and 000002 should be 00000B.

But by accident I selected 000002 and named in 00000A, when I noticed that I immediatly changed it into 00000B.

(I didn't release the item in the meantime)

But now I cannot renumber 000001 to 00000A, because Vault declares: "The entered item number is already in use."

I have googled the case, but until now no satisfying answer.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Hi,

If you purge the item that you have already changed, the item number should be released and made available.
