Autodesk Vault Server Installation Error

I have messed up.

we have a replicated environment  that was disabled due to a high data usage issue that our reseller and Autodesk could not fix. I have just tried to install 2013 SP1 and when it has come to the migration stage an error has occurred that there is data still unreplicated between the servers, and the migration will exit.

Is there any way to either rollback SP1 so I can detach the second site, or sort this without having to reinstall? The secondary site isnt currently being used at all.

Did you try just uninstalling SP1 from Add\Remove Programs?

I couldnt see an option to uninstall just the service pack, when you change the view to installed updates, there was no option to change vault server SP1. There was only an option to uninstall when in the normal program only view.

This is all occurring on server 2008 R2, and we have Vault collaboration installed.

Thanks,

Directive from my reseller support has been firstly to unistall the ADMS only and then reinstall. This has failed during the data migration, exact errors were

Some subscriber workgroups are offline, or there are data changes that havnt yet hbeen replicated between the publisher and the subscribers. Please ensure the subscribers are online, the SQL agent service is running on each subscriber, and there are no replication errors.

If all fo the above is in order, there may be a large number of data changes being replicated – this may take a while, especially on slower networks – please try your operation again later.

and then

The database must be the same version as this autodesk data management server, but the migration process failed to update the database to the same elvel as the server.

This indicates a serious problem with your server installation – the server console will now exit.

Is there any way to stop the adms from automatically migrating the data, and instead restore from a backup?

Next step is a full reinstall - sql, iis etc, which will disrupt more than just the CAD users.

Hello Josh,

I see this post is older now but I was wondering how it was resolved.

Did the reinstall get things completed correctly?

Thank you in advance.
