Autodesk Vault Collaboration 2011 File Replication

Hi,

I'm checking the status of the File Replication between two workgroups.

From the Console I see that there are 960 files (~101 MB) unreplicated.

Just to be sure I searched (on both workgroups) for all files with the "File Replicated" property = False.

Found only 2 matches(!!!???).

My question is: where "960 unreplicated files" information come from?

Which is the best way to check if all files have been replicated?

Thank you in Advance

Max

Hi,

By default a search will only include the 'latest' versions of a file. You might want to retry you search with 'latest' unchecked - this may resolve the discrepency you are seeing.

HI Paul,

thank you for the feedback, but did not solved the issue.

I still get only few files with the "File Replicated" property set to false, but the console still display 260 unreplicated files.

Do you know where that information camo from? I mean a Stored Procedure or something else?

Thank you in Advance

Max

Hi Max,

It is puzzling that you are seeing this discrepency. Ultimately both data come from the database - though the search information is served through an index. You could try rebuilding the search index in ADMS console - in case that somehow the search index has gotten out-of-date. Failing that however, I would advise contacting product support with this issue - to my knowledge this is not a known problem.

Paul
