Autodesk Vault 2012

 We would like to use the form VAULT included in the 2012 version of Autodesk
The Application Vault seems to have the need for 'a MSSQL server, the following documentation Vault Professional 2012 we installed a new instance of MSSQL 2008 R2 called AutodeskVault At this point we tried to access all'appilcativo Vault client by connecting to the new instance but without success .
To use the Vault Server you must install the version of the application? If yes, THE Vault Client and Server need to be installed on two different machines?
The database in MSSQL dell'instanza is automatically created during the first logon or via some configuration tool?
