Authentification to Web Client

Hi,

I have a few questions regarding Vault Web Client. The need is to avoid constant authentification to access datas. 

In ERP, hyperlinks of document data page are stored. But when a user click, the login page pops.

Is it possible to : 

• Remove the authentification of the Webclient (or set a default one) 
• Use Windows credentials to authenticate
• Obtain a secret link that contains an AuthKey

You will need to use Windows Authentication.

Hi,

I did try to activate WA and import a user from the AD, the authentification works from the webclient when I'm logging in with DOMAIN\User but it is not automatic. My Windows credentials are not used automatically by the web client.

Is there a specific configuration of IIS to do ?

The web client will not automatically log you in event though you are using Windows Authentication.  I believe that you can just hit the enter key with the username and password fields left empty and it will attempt Windows Authentication.

Hi,

I was looking for a way to use hyperlinks in an Excel table to show the related document in the vault when I found this thread. Is there a solution for this autentification issue?
