Assigning a group from Vault or Domaingroup to a Category?

Hello,

we are using Vault Collaboration 2011 with full replication to 3 different locations and using it not only to replicate design files but although files from MS Office, pictures and in near future software code of our own programs.

That's why I have to create a new vault where two different groups of software engineers can check in their data. Is it possible to assign a category to a group from Vault or an imported Domaingroup? Purpose is to assign all software from developer team A to Categroy A and from team B to Category B to differentiate between them.

Or is there an other to solve this?
