I was trying to remember, from 2010 with Active directory. I was thinking it would suck in the user names and passwords but they would not update after the initial import? Is that still true? We have passwords that are forced updated every 30-days. If I set it to active directory will it change with the AD?

Andrew,
The passwords are not copied into Vault when you are using Windows Authentication with Vault.
So when the user changes their password in Active Directory, they will still be able to log into Vault.
Using the new password correct? That is what I would want / expect it to do…
Thanks
Hello,
I got problem here. I cannot import domain user (attached). Any help would be appriciate. Thanks
I had the same problem, but i solved it.
Before launch the "Autodesk Data Managment Server Console", you need to log on into the Windows 2008 server as the Domain Administrator (so not log in as a local user or local administrator), otherwise the current windows user can't inspect deeply Active Directory.
Bye!
I forgot an interesting information:
Active Directory integration in Vault 2013 Server functions perfectly with
a Linux Samba4 Active Directory Domain Controller.
It works fine for me running Samba 4 on a Debian x64 Squeeze virtual machine.
Ciao
