Hi otto,

I don't believe the Vault SDK offers a way of getting the language of the server. I'm not sure if this information is relevent without having more context of what you're trying to do, but perhaps this article is helpful: http://justonesandzeros.typepad.com/blog/2010/07/localizing-a-custom-command.html

Hi,

Dougs describe how to get/support the language for Vault Client. But what otto is asking, is how to get the server language.

We have the same issue.
Why we need this:

One Client has German install, other one has English, and Server has Spain.
What values did you get in the API for measure units? --> Yes the Spain, its not translated or there is no unique ID for this.

This is only a sample why we need the Server language

Thx.

Unfortunately, the ability to get the language of the server is not part of the Vault SDK, and in fact, the Vault clients don't pull the language of the server.
