Webclient Host Name

Has anyone successfully added a host name to the Vault webclient in IIS by modifying the binding for the site?

 

For example instead of:

http://servername/AutodeskDM/webclient/Login.aspx

It would be:

http://vault.domain.com/AutodeskDM/webclient/Login.aspx

 

I have this somewhat working on our server but if you enter the host name (vault.domain.com) for the Server on the login page with WinAuth checked, it prompts for the users login credentials. If you enter the server name then it will login using WinAuth just fine.

 

This is more of an annoyance than anything that I assume has to do with how IIS is configured.
