<Association ChildId="_365269" Source="INVENTOR" RefId="1" NeedsResolution="true" Type="Dependency" />

i need to get the RefId

on Vault Wiki

http://wikihelp.autodesk.com/Vault/enu/Help/Help/0170-Administ170/0302-Vault_Da0/0001-Extracti1

  • File Associations–For each iteration, file associations can be defined. The utility is able to care about file associations for Inventor using an attribute called RefId as an identifier. This identifier is used later on when documents are opened in Inventor. File attachments can be defined within the structure.

there also no good answer then on Inventor API there no RefiID!

how i can found the RefID with the Filename in the Inventor File

thx for Hionts or Tips

Mario

Unfortunately, you can't.

I think the best thing to do is leave it off for the import, and then use the "Update Files References" in Vault Explorer to correct the file assosiations afterwards.

Hi, do you have documentation for the xml syntax necessary for Vault Data Transfer Utility?
