API - obtaining Vault's credentials from the Microsoft Office addins.

In much the same way that you can capture the Vault Credentials from Inventor using the C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor 2012\Bin\Connectivity.InventorAddin.EdmAddin.dll file as a reference in a solution, I am wondering if it is possible to do the same thing from any of the Office addins? (In my case specifically Excel)

Can anyone tell me if this is possible and if so how?

Sorry, that trick only works for Inventor.  None of the other plug-ins allow you to get the security ticket.

Hi Doug,

After adding some of the .dlls in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\Data Management Applications\Office Addin 2012 folder that's what I thought.

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to use the webservices exposed by the vault server.

Thanks again,

Alex.
