Maybe this will help: You can use the transform info to allign by where you place the geometry in your Scenegraph. Try this: Create a Group in the SG. Drag Tire A from Assets into the group. Select the (top) Group node and transform it. Now drag Tire B into Group and it should be allligned with Tire A.
Still can't believe it's been a year and theres still no align tool
I'm trying to align a tyre to a rim and after half an hour, I've switched to Max and done it in 10 seconds. I don't understand how such simple and useful tools are overlooked in VRED.
