Does the new Topobase product support Oracle Express Edition?

Scott,
My understanding of Topobase is as follow;
Topobase includes Map 3D, Mapguide (with all the extras), Oracle Enterprise
and all the procedures you need customized to the applications that you are
using it for (waterlines, waste water system, electrical, etc) . Cost varies
for it depending on what you want the software to do and how you want your
GIS model to work. IIRC you are familiar with ESRI modules and third party
partners they use to create full blown GIS solutions. Topobase is AutoDesks
answer to all the add-ons that are required for an ESRI Arc-Editor, Arc-SDE,
Arc-Map, Arc-Info system. Topobase is not an OOTB install and use it takes a
lot of time setting up the GIS Model and making the right connections so
that when you add a new water meter on a existing water main it knows a Tee
is needed and what sizes are required etc. Now the great thing I see with
topobase vs the other guys is you as the GIS manager or Topobase manager can
go into the system and change the parameter as you need to add new parts,
users, constrains etc, where in the "other system" you need to call the 3rd
party guys up and get them to do it and most of the time they charge you for
the changes.
Too bad you don't reside & work a little more to the east I would love the
chance to be able to corroborate setting up a Topobase system in this area.
