Inventor drawings to Revit pipe family's

Dear Forums,

An company is drawing air terminals and pipelines in Inventor. This has to be combined in our central Revit file, where we combine some .rvt. files with links.

What would you experts advice to do / how to get it in Revit.

The idea is to be able to make changes in Revit to the air terminals and pipelines.

Hope to hear from you.

Greetings,

C. Smith

Hi Clayton,

Welcome to the forum 🙂

have you checked the Recognise Revit Features and the BIM exchange. Essentially you will end up with a revit file (editable in revit), it can contain the ipart table (family member) and it can set classification and connection information (flow, size, etc.)
