Hi,

i'll try to save the cad in stl format, and then import it in Moldflow.

Hi,

the geometry is probably not an enclosed volume, a solid, and/or it also holds free, not connected, surfaces.
If there are gaps or missing faces or free surfaces/faces, it is a collection of faces and quilts. A closed solid volume cannot be created.

Using STL is a workaround.
Or import surfaces via IGES.

Also, check cad geometry in cad system, or CAD Doctor, and fix/repair where needed.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Berndt
