Robot slow model for tapered section NTM forces

Hi,

I have a model with about 250 manually generated combinations.

Model is very slow (it is not big, 1 story, 8x32m, only bar elements). But it is very very slow when I try to display NTM forces for console tapered bars.

Artur, Rafal, can anyone check it out, see PM.

Thanks!

Do you mean display of envelope?

Yes, envelope, I'm sorry for not mention it.

No matter, GSU or KGS groups (envelopes), same thing.

Yes, it is like that because these are tapered sections

For standard sections diagram is displayed usually on 11 discrete points along calculation element but section stiffeness is known in each point and displacement \ internal forces are calculated by "formulas"

IN case of tapered sections diagram is displayed usually on 11 discrete points along calculation element but section stiffeness has to be calculated in each point and displacement \ internal forces are calculated by algorithm with some integrals so the time for this task must be significantly longer.

Maybe this should be prepared in advance so it doesn't take so much time.

But, ok, thank you. I thought it may be related with wrong modelling.
