Uplift pressure on inclined base slab of swimming pool !!

Hi everyone
i am modeling a swimming pool for my graduation project .
when i display the soil reaction some uplift pressure appears on the inclined slab of the pool , so i defined an Uz+ for the inclined in order to cancel the effect of the tension on soil , but an error appears tilling me that "No convergence of nonlinear problem "
so what is the problem and how i can solve it ?

Hi ,

1st of all , your geometry is incorrect. Your inclined slabs (panels 19 ,21) are not a perfect rectangle. After adjusting these 2 slabs , adjust also de big central slab( panel 20). Now check your walls and adjust them no the new slabs geometries. Wall 8 is  not even touching wall 15.

Your analysis is non-linear. adjust non-linear parameters as figure below.

I changed the structure type to shell , as I feel more confortable. Corrected file is attached.I don´t know if the geometry measures I assumed are the correct ones. Check it !!!!

Thanks a lot for adjusting my model Smiley Happy
but my friend i do what you said but the same error message appearsSmiley Sad at case 3 (1.2*dead)
i used mesh 20*20 , do i reduce the mesh of the base slabs ?

Use the same nonlin settings as shown by Rafacascudo for case 3.

Thank you guys
i solved the problem by adding Kx and Ky to each base slab .
it was unstable Cat Embarassed

Hello,

Is it an underground construction? How did you assign the soil pressure?
