Modelling Assistance

Hi I wish to design design this pontoon and see the effects on the barge.

I wished to have rigid links connecting the brackets to where a spud would be but it appears the rigid links cant share a node??

Any ideas on how to model this in?

In situations like described replace them with rigid bar elements (with large cross sections).
