Upcoming April release has improved markups - but still no way to track them?!

An email just come through with a video link on the upcoming April markup improvements.

Video here.

But, we still have no better way to manage and track them, as we do with Issues.

I actually know of very few companies that use the markup tool due to the lack of tracking capabilities. They instead use the Issues tool.

I don't want to sound ungrateful for the upcoming enhancements, but they are moot if the markups tool has very adoption in the first place in favour of the far more superior Issues.

I fully agree. The announced enhancements look nice but the developement should rather focus on more important things like @Chad-Smith suggests. In my opinion it is necessary to have an option to create a mark-up as an issue attachment. That would instatnly enable the trackability and possibility to share the information with only the target project members.

Hi Chad,

Thank you for sharing your feedback.
We are planning to incorporate markups in issue tracking and RFI management amongst other workflows. As part of the enhancements that were announced, we've also laid down some technical groundwork that would help us incorporate markups into these workflows.

Best Regards,
Doreen
