For a christmas present, she had recieved a battery powered ball with these blunt spikes all over it (yes it was intended for toddlers and younger). When you turned it on, it would just sit there and shake. If you let go with it on the floor, it would actually shake its way across the room. But if you turned it on while she was holding it, she'd let out this really hillarious giggle.
~chuckling~ How adorable!
With my oldest, when he was little, pulling my husband's finger (at which point he would pretend to pass gas explosively) was the trigger for his most adorable giggles.
Our youngest is just extremely ticklish, always has been. Hubby called it the chipmunk giggle.

My niece's laugh is definitely something that makes me smile ... although my nephew has a great laugh, too.
I enjoy most kinds of music, but would have trouble picking a "favorite" theme, song or sound. Although, having played the oboe myself, I appreciate the sound of a well played oboe.
I enjoy listening to the ocean ... when I'm there.

Snow.
Because eveything is hushed.
The world slows down and creeps along.
Little; echos; across the land.

The sound of a distant train horn. It calls me, evoking thoughts of leaving everything behind and striking out, alone, across the vast countryside. In a word: haunting.

Unless you live in the UK when the quiet of snow is occasionally interupped by hapless motorists sliding into the scenery.
I'll pass on the Lambo engine - personally think the inline 6 sound sweet, especially my bmw after a long and painful engine swap.
I like the clunk of old-style toggle switches - does that make me sad?

Even though I've been in snow so rarely -- Southern California native -- I can only imagine how beautiful the sound of a first snow must be!

Too hard to narrow down to just one, but...
An airshow: from the wop-wop-wop of a SAR helecopter, to the crackle of twin afterburners, to the rasp of a stunt plane, to the whisper-whoosh of a aerobatic sailplane.
The pop-and-crackle of a campfire.
The "schlorp" of a canoe paddle on a crystal clear morning in the middle of a north Saskatchewan lake.
