What's your favorite sound? ANFSCD, v.3

Yes, it's Tuesday, but since many of us had yesterday off let's pretend it's Monday (but enjoy how soon Friday will be upon us!). Does that work for everyone? :smileyvery-happy:

This week's "And Now for Something Completely Different..." question is...

What is your favorite sound? If you can't narrow it down to one, give us your top three!

Mine? If we're gauging by overall goosebumpiness, I'm going to have to say any Lamborghini engine. Or...OR...well-written vocal four-part harmonies. I quite like those too. And since I said three...

The sound of the coffeemaker percolating away on a Sunday morning is also delightful.

    Your turn!

Hard to describe, but the transition between the songs Foreplay and Long Ttime by Boston... where it builds up and leads into the opening guitar riffs of Long Time... shivers every time.

The sounds, accompanied by the smell, of bacon sizzling on the griddle.

Soft rain outside the bedroom window on a warm summer night.

Always loved the crunch that fresh snow makes underfoot.

The sound of the coffee maker percolating is nice but the sound it makes when the coffeed is DONE is better!!! Have to agree on the 4 part harmonies but you lost me on the Lambo. Would much rather hear that good ole' Detroit big block!

#1 is easy... a baby's giggle. Nothing is sweeter and can instantly make everyone smile.

#2 would probably be waves on a beach or wind through leaves, something natural

#3 coffee perking would be obvious, so, instead, I'll go with a cork popping

I would have to agree with the baby's giggle.  In fact I'll go a little more specific.  THE BEST baby giggle I can remember hearing came from my neice (who's now 20).

For a christmas present, she had recieved a battery powered ball with these blunt spikes all over it (yes it was intended for toddlers and younger).  When you turned it on, it would just sit there and shake.  If you let go with it on the floor, it would actually shake its way across the room.  But if you turned it on while she was holding it, she'd let out this really hillarious giggle.
