I was commenting on a post that was similar to the problem I was researching. I started a thread a couple days later which was post #2 having not found my answer.
I used the first log in that I remembered and then went to the last page of that Search to find it.
When I Searched that log in name I did come up with three choices.

It all started with an upgrade... but then, like most stories, these things usually start out small.

This appears to be my first one when I went by Testsubject_US
Looks like I posted earlier than that using my own name
I found 3 posts under my old login name that date back to 2006 sometime... forgot about those.

Finding those original log-ins are what is interesting.
Wonder why we kept changing names? Probably forgot to write it all down.
Think about how much Autodesk has to maintain because of that.

We changed names because they changed the website. We all had to re-register and I believe they changed the rules a little in regards to screen names.

I wonder how many thousands of posts vaporized when they ditched NNTP. I do have copies of some posts from way back:

First one I found of mine was in July 2000 with a registration date of 2003. (?) I asked a question and got answers even from Dean back then.
Yep the man the legend the Sage answered my first post as well.

And guess who answered my first question? My first post was only 4 years ago, http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Visual-LISP-AutoLISP-and-General/DB-field-reference-to-outside-line/m-..., learnt a lot since then.
My first post
and first response
"Hey, here's a challenge for anyone willing: what is the first post ever on these discussion boards? And secondly, what is the first post ever by a user who is still active?"
Maybe both
Oh... Frank O...
