See picture attached, the quick and easier way: I did this version last night with one slice of American Cheese and one Slice ot Gouda. Very tasty.

I don't have much of a sweet tooth. Hubby probably had cookies as a post-dessert, dessert. 😉

I love peanut butter on toast... I never thought of grilling it...
PB on a piece of grilled Texas toast is super tasty! Sprinkle a tiny bit of sugar on top, or drizzle some honey...yum. Good snack!
Hmmm,... how about a grilled peanut butter and banana sammitch?

I had an interesting sandwich last Friday. It was listed on the menu as a BLT. What it was, was;
pork Belly
Lettuce and
fried green Tomatoes -
with garlic mayo.
Delicious!
I was also in a supermarket and saw they were selling little pockets that you could slip your raw grilled cheese in to and cook in a wide mouth toaster.

That's a fancy BLT right there! Sounds delicious, though. I love fried green tomatoes.
I don't know if I want to go this far...

I saw this post on Google+, saying it is national grilled cheese day. Wish I would've known and I wouldn't have planned scallops and baked brie and mushrooms for dinner tonight.
My new method is to use by George Foreman Grill to 'grill' the sandwiches: way faster, more even and cleanup is a breaze.
I also tried the waffle maker: ridges are fun.

That's intriguing. Now to decide if I really need to make my own "American" cheese . . .

Anyone else tried pnut butter 'n cheese?
Never! What kind of cheese do you use?
Ummm Cheese Whiz
Made some last week that were sinfully awesome. My Dr. would have had a fit if she'd seen them.
Buttered sourdough bread, crispy thick sliced bacon, grilled onions, colby jack and muenster cheese. Placed on the griddle until they were gotting crisp but not too brown, then lifted them up and sprinkled shredded parmeson, romano and asiago on the griddle.... placed the sandwich back down on it. After that got all golden and crispy I turned them over and repeated the process. The finished sammies were then topped with mayo, lettuce and roma tomatoes.
