Two issues faced with IE9 (in addition to sometimes - but not always - losing the entered text).
Use this as test cases to check the provider ("lithium") has fixed their system. If not, whip them more!
- Editing in "Rich text" with IE9 in native mode. Switch to another window. Switch back to IE9. Focus does not necessarily ever come back to the text window. Once it came after some 10 seconds, another time not at all.
- Pressing "Post" gives a window warning of contents being lost. I managed to actually post one entry using IE9 but I needed to push the "leave page (I know contents will be lost)" button. But.. they weren't.
IE9 *is* a good browser. I certainly wish you have these issues fixed ASAP.
Using IE9 in compatibility mode (acting as IE7) would probably not have these issues, but the visual look is "broken". And we don't want that - we want native IE9 support. Thanks.
