Incidence surface/light 180 degree equivalent?

I had a shading network that wants to replicate in maya.  It contains an incidence node that is reacting to surface/light but its 180 degree.  So depending on the light direction, the transition fall off gradually from directly facing to the light to 180 degrees which is the back side of the object.

I tried to use the light info node. connecting the geo's world matrix into the light info .  output the lightinfo message to Vramp.  It does gradient out according to the light direction but it doesn't rap all the way around to the otherside of the gemetry.

Any thoughts?

I gave up.  I just use a ramp shader instead..
