dear all.
i have done one 3d meshing and one dual domin mesh for the same part ..an ran Fill+pack+warp for the same part . but results is different warpage is high in dual domin model and fill time also double in dual domin model.. i want to which one is correct ? how to choose the mesh type..
part geometry is simple handle shape. injection location is one side of the handle..
please anyone clarify me
I guess this question does not have any satisfied answer, as solvers are different results will be different.
But you can take precausions, whenever meshing for DD/Fusion check whether mesh match % > 90 & use 3D when thickness
of part is over 4-5mm.
I can recall "Maybe Moldflow does not work properly, but the real world neither" PascalGosset is saying always.
hi,
you are correct here the match percentage is 42% only,
but our problem is this is the very simple geometry i can't increase the match % more than this.i tried..
then what will do?
In that case you need to go for 3D always.
