Moldflow Synergy or Solver

Hi, I'm installing version 2012.
I do not know the difference between these two installations:
Audodesk Moldflow Synergy - User Interface
Autodesk Moldflow Insight Solvers

I come from the 2010 version.
What is the classic version of Moldflow?

Hi Bricio,

Sinergy is the graphic Interface, the one you use to visualize your results, define the process settings work on layers.... You need to have this installed on your working station.

The solver are the ones that compute the Analysis and creates you all there result files that you can find in the project folder.

If you want to work on studies and run analyses locally on your computer, you need to install both, Sinergy and Solver.

If you will run all the analyses on a job server, you can install Sinergy only locally, and install the solver on the job server.

Ok, I installed both.
But in the desktop there's write 'Autodesk Moldflow Synergy 2012' and not 'Autodesk Moldflow Insight 2012'.

Right?

yes, that is correct.

The user interface icon on desktop is now called Autodesk Moldflow Synergy 2012.
