It is possible to send the material “Schulablend M / MW NC100” format udb to put in Moldflow. Thank you!

Hi,

what you can do:
- Contact the material supplier and ask for an udb-file for the material

- If you have measured data, raw data, of material you can contact
datafittingmoldflow@autodesk.com
and get measured data fitted and an udb-file for analysis in return.
(material supplier might have measured data of this material?)

Autodesk Moldflow Plastics Labs information at:
http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?id=13151393&siteID=123112&linkID=13030537

Hope this helps.
Regards,
Berndt

Hello.
I can't find the udb file for Optix CA-924 produced by Plaskolite West
This is the data shee I found, but certainly I don't know how to create a confident udb from this.
 http://www.plaskolite.com/Product/DownloadProperties/4877

I'm using 2012 version, do you have the udb already in the 2013 or somewhere else I can find it?

Thank you!

Hi,
the material data of Optix CA-924 is currently not available in official material database of Autodesk Simulation Moldflow Synergy 2013, SP2.
The manufacturer is currently not in the material database.

The data from a Technical Data Sheet (TDS) is generally too generic, having too less information to create an udb-file as no coefficients for viscosity or PVT models normally available and more data such as thermal properties (maybe available as single point), transition temperature, etc.
So creating a confident udb-file from a TDS is basically not possible.

Some material suppliers has udb-files to send that are not in official material database.
Please, contact the material supplier and ask for an udb-file for the material.

Or do as I posted previous to this topic to contact Autodesk Moldflow Plastics Labs.

Regards,
Berndt
