Flow Lines at gates on parts.

We are having issues with flow lines at gates on thick parts. We are not seeing them in the Moldflow but they are on molded parts. Are there any suggestions as to what to try to get a more representative results.

What material are you using?  Flow lines can be more inherant to some plastics compared to others.

Also, you won't see flow lines in Moldflow.  Just not possible with the code.  You may see some plots that hint at it, but nothing directly.

Regards,

Tim

I guess these are becuase of jetting effect.

try with overlaping gates.

We can't  simulate or pridict problems related to flow marks.

we can corelate with it, with resutls of flow front temperature, freeze time & avg velocity.
