Empty analysis log - Moldflow 2015 and 2014

Dear community,

I am currently having the problem that the analysis I want to start fails. I am getting the usual message about the failure (see attachment). However, as you can see in the pic, the analysis log is completely empty. This holds for Autodesk Simulation Moldflow Insight 2014 and 2015. So, how am I supposed to know what's the reason for the failure?!

Has anybody experienced the same? Or does anyone even have a solution?

Background information:

OS: Windows 7

Moldflow: Insight 2015/Insight 2014

Analysis: Cool(FEM)+Fill+Pack+Warp

Model type: 3D

Number of elements: 1 mio. for part, 1.5 mio. for cooling, 2.5 mio. for mold

I am looking forward to your comments, thanks already for your help!

I should add that the solution server for Simulation CFD is up and running in the background.

Besides, a pure fill study with the exact same model does work.

Hi,

You need to install Insight 2015 package after Synergy has installed.

If you need any help please let me know.

Mayur

Hey Mayur Dhumal,

thanks for your advice. Nevertheless, it was not of great help, since I have installed Synergy first and Insight afterwards from the very beginning. Still, the problem came up. Moreover, the problem changed now (for whatever reasons). The Analysis Log box is not completely empty anymore. The analysis still fails and is aborted. The folling text appears now (due to confidentiality, I have overwritten the computer and file names):

Help of any kind is very much appreciated, because I am really stuck here!

Hi,

There has been problems connecting server when using CFD license, there has been also issues reported by many users that CFD license should not be mandatory to run analysis through Moldflow. Lets hope Autodesk may take necessary steps.

Mayur

Hey all,

It seems to work now, for whatever reason. I had installed Insight after Synergy, but I did a reinstall of both Synergy first and Insight second to be sure. Perhaps, you were also right about the license problems. It remains a mystery. I can only recommend to all people having the same trouble to try to uninstall the whole Moldflow software and than reinstall

1. Synergy

2. Insight

3. All available updates

Best regards,
Max
