Autodesk Moldflow 2010 Release 2 products are now on Subscription Center

Autodesk Moldflow 2010 Release 2 delivers new technologies and key enhancements that help users work more efficiently and reduce solution time.

Key new features in Moldflow Insight 2010 Release 2 include:

• Unlimited models in Synergy: One Synergy window has the ability to simultaneously pre- and post process unlimited number of models.
• Speed: A single 3D flow analysis taps into hardware advancements by using multiple central processing unit (CPU) cores. Multithreading technology accelerates analysis times by a factor of two (depending on the model). Even greater speed gains can be achieved when using NVIDIA’s GPU graphics cards in combination with the multiple CPU cores
• CAD integration: Inventor part models can now be imported directly into both Autodesk Moldflow Adviser and Autodesk Moldflow Insight. Insight users can import a native CAD part model or a complete assembly. Once the CAD model has been imported using Autodesk Moldflow Design Link 2010, Release 2, the Insight user has full control over the meshing process and can refine the surface mesh in specific areas of the part where more detail is required, while leaving the mesh in other areas unmodified.
• Accuracy: Improvements to meshing technology for 3D models enable more accurate predictions of plastic designs and processes. For example, the software provides better mesh quality in areas where the part makes a transition from a thick area to a thin area, in corners and at the edge of a part.

NOTE: The localized versions will become available at a later date.
