Import cad model as a wire frame model option 

1. It helps a lot when we import bigger tool data with cooling channels, if they are converted in wireframe. It will be easy to extract or generate curves for cooling channels 

2. Right now, We use similar options available  in CAD tools and use them as curves. But all the CAD tools doesn't have such option.

3. Even if option provided  to convert surface edges to curves, also will be helpful.

4. Even if option provided  to create a centre line for cylindrical features is also be helpful to generate cooling channels

I would suggest to improve the current feature provided in Application Menu>Options>Default Display>Surface/CAD Face>Net.

What to improve:

Current 'Net' feature does not allow to select the 'Net' lines, if it is provides to select, user may extract the curves or using present net lines centerline can be extracted or nodes can be generated which will help in modelling Cooling channels in beam format.
