Cleaning up STL files for use with Autodesk Moldflow Advisor 2010

Autodesk does not support Magics STL Expert anymore. How do I clean up my files so that the new release works properly?

This seems to be a problem as we were told that Autodesk would not be supporting the product. We have only had stl expert a short time. It seems as even the most simple stl file will not run in newer versions of advisor.

When It was announced that Magics would no longer be supported, I took the option of obtaining a perpetual license. I don't know how long I will be able to continue to use it, since it is licensed to a particular piece of hardware, but I do currently use it on every part I analyze.

Magics was actually a repackaging of a third party product, Magics, by Materialise.

If you Google Moldflow STL Magics you may find something that will work for you.
