Autodesk simulation saving pressure vessel surfaces

When a pressure vessel is created, it can not apparently be saved as a surface model so that it can be cnc milled. The export allows to dxf, iges, etc, but only the mesh curves get stored--turning those into a surface for a program like Mastercam is a problem.

you can do the following to save PV designer models as surface objects

1) File

2) Export

3) choose SAT at the file type

save the file

and the resulting SAT fils is the Surface model you created in PV Designer.
